Although Mattel has seriously lost ground as far as quality/durability is concerned, they still have great play ideas. This horse riding Barbie makes a great human for your Mattel, Breyer, Hartland or Marx large size horse. Her clothing is not nearely as well made as it would have been 20 years earlier, no hems, no shirt, etc. but we expect that nowadays. Oh Barbie, my Barbie, how far your star has fallen! Mattel, Mattel, wake up-before it's too late! Only Hearts Club Dolls clothing just put these to shame!
